THE ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED TO FACILITATE THE PURCHASE OF THE RAILROAD CORRIDOR WHICH RUNS THROUGH HOLMES COUNTY AND TO DEVELOP IT INTO A RECREATIONAL TRAIL. CURRENT ACTIVITIES SUPPORT THE ONGOING DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF THE TRAIL WHICH IS SHARED BY FOOT TRAFFIC, BICYCLES, AND HORSES ALIKE. THE COALITION ALSO STRIVES TO KEEP THE PUBLIC INFORMED ABOUT THE TRAIL AND ENCOURAGES ITS USE.

IN ADDITION TO ROUTINE TRAIL MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENTS THE ORGANIZATION HAD A SUCCESSFUL FUND-RAISER THIS PAST YEAR THANKS TO OUR HARD-WORKING VOLUNTEERS AND THE WONDERFUL SUPPORT FROM OUR COMMUNITY.
