MISSION AND MINISTRY EFFORTS TO LAUNCH AND SUSTAIN SOCIAL ENTERPRISE BUSINESS VENTURES RELATED TO AND SUPPORTIVE OF OVERALL MISSION, INCLUDING CREATING EMPLOYMENT AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE SERVED, AS WELL AS GENERATING NET INCOME FOR ORGANIZATION. 61 PEOPLE WERE EMPLOYED, 225,000 POUNDS OF TEXTILE ITEMS WERE RECYCLED, AND CUSTOMERS/SALES TRANSACTIONS TOTALED OVER 80,000.
RECONSTRUCTING LIVES AND TRANSFORMING NEIGHBORHOODS THROUGH A NETWORK OF SPIRITUAL AND VOCATIONAL SUPPORT, BASED ON JESUS' CALL TO STEWARDSHIP, LOVE FOR THY NEIGHBOR, AND THE TRANSFORMING POWER OF THE COMMUNITY.

THESE ACTIVITIES SERVED MORE THAN 300 PEOPLE WEEKLY THROUGH PROGRAMS INCLUDING ENGLISH CLASSES, MENTORING, WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, EMPLOYMENT, CARE GROUPS, CITIZENSHIP PREPARATION GROUPS, IMMIGRATION SERVICES, AND THE EXPANSION OF CHRISTIAN IMMIGRANT FAITH COMMUNITIES.
MISSION AND MINISTRY EFFORTS FOCUSED ON BUILDING CAPACITY FOR URBAN CHRISTIAN CONGREGATIONS AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN UNDER-RESOURCED NEIGHBORHOODS. THESE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE PROVIDING AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO 30+ PEOPLE, COMMUNITY ORGANIZING EFFORTS THAT ENGAGED 400 LOW-INCOME NEIGHBORS, YOUTH EDUCATIONAL AND LITERACY PROGRAMS, AND COACHING CITY CHURCHES AND PASTORS IN COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP. AS A RESULT, 323 VOLUNTEERS WERE DEPLOYED, MORE THAN 350 LOCAL CITIZENS WERE TRAINED.
