INDIA-WE STAYED IN COVID RELIEF MODE UNTIL OCTOBER 2021. FEEDING WHOLE VILLAGES WHO HAD NO WORK. MEDICAL CARE FOR COVID PATIENTS, RENT AND TUITION FOR FAMILIES AND THEIR CHILDREN. IN OCTOBER 2021 MAHARASHTRA SCHOOLS OPENED AND WE RESUMED UNIFORMS, BOOKS, TUITIONS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES. TIBETAN STUDENTS STAYED ONLINE ALL YEAR SO WE PAID THEIR PRIVATE SCHOOL TUITION FROM PRESCHOOL TO MEDICAL COLLEGE. IN SOUTH INDIA OUR ORPHANAGE STAYED OPEN ALL YEAR AND TRANSITIONED FROM TELEVISION CLASSES TO IN PERSON CLASSES 1 OCTOBER. AS WE HAD ALREADY BEEN PAYING FOR ALL FOOD, CLOTHING, SCHOOL FEES STAFF AND NGO FEES(FIRE INSPECTIONS, REGISTRATION FEES ETC) OUR COSTS KEPT GOING UP FROM INFLATION. STUDENTS RANGED FROM 1ST CLASS TO COLLEGE AND IT TRAINING STUDENTS. WE ALSO HAD A VILLAGE AFTER SCHOOL TUITION PROGRAM FOR 32 STUDENTS DAILY.
LOCAL- DONATION FOR A CANCER PATIENT FOR TREATMENT. DONATION TO A BUSINESS GOING OUT DUE TO COVID. DONATION TO A FAMILY WITH A SMALL BABY WHO NEEDED SEVERAL OPERATIONS.
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC- WE ARE CLOSING THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC PROGRAM. STILL, FAMILIES WERE AFFECTED BY NO TOURISTS AND NO WORK FOR MORE THAN HALF THE YEAR. SO, WE HAD BAGS OF FOOD DELIVERED THROUGH AUGUST. THEN WE PAID TO PAINT THE SCHOOL WE HAVE WORKED WITH FOR 14 YEARS. PAINT ALL THE CLASSROOMS AND OUTSIDE SO THEY COULD OPEN IN SEPTEMBER 2021 AFTER BEING CLOSED SINCE MARCH 2020.
GHANA- WE CLOSED THE PROGRAM IN 2020 BUT KEPT HELPING THE MAN WHO WORKED FOR US FOR OVER 10 YEARS BUY FOOD DURING COVID AS HE IS A DRIVER AND NO TOURISTS.
