COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES OF ORANGE COUNTY (CASA OC) PROVIDES A POWERFUL VOICE AND A MEANINGFUL CONNECTION FOR CHILDREN WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED ABUSE, NEGLECT, AND ABANDONMENT IN ORANGE COUNTY. IN 2021/2022, CASA OC SERVED 1,590 CHILDREN UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF OUR ORANGE COUNTY JUVENILE COURT (PRIMARILY CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE); 908 OF WHICH BENEFITED FROM THE DEDICATION OF A ONE ON ONE RELATIONSHIP WITH A VOLUNTEER MENTOR-ADVOCATE; WHILE AN ADDITIONAL 682 CHILDREN RECEIVED ADVOCACY SERVICES THROUGH OUR WAITLIST COORDINATOR AND/OR FAMILY CONNECTION PROGRAM.
