THIS ORGANIZATION EXISTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPORTING, HELPING AND PROMOTING THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY OF EAST SAN DIEGO COUNTY. IT'S PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS ALL SERVE TO RETAIN AND ENHANCE PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT IN THE EAST COUNTY; PROMOTE BUSINESS EXPANSION AND RETENTION; STIMULATE INVESTMENT IN THE REGION; FACILITATE OPEN DIALOGUE AMONG THE AREA'S BUSINESS, GOVERNMENT, AND EDUCATION LEADERS; AND FOSTER GREATER REGIONAL COOPERATION AND PLANNING TO BENEFIT THE ENTIRE EAST COUNTY. IT'S MEMBERSHIP IS COMPSED OF REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE BUSINESS AND GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES OF THIS AREA. ALL FUNDS RECEIVED ARE DIRECTED TOWARD THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE ABOVE ACTIVITY. THE NUMBER OF ORGANIZATIONS DIRECTLY BENEFITED WAS APPROXIMATELY 125.
