DISTRICT 1 PROVIDED SERVICE TO THE LEAGUES FROM LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LEAGUE ADMINISTRATIVE AND OPERATIONAL TRAINING PER THE RULES, REGULATION, AND GUIDELINES OF LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL & SOFTBALL. DISTRICT 1 TRAINED VOLUNTEERS TO SERVE TEH INDIVIDUAL LEAGUES AND SERVE AS DISTRICT STAFF. DISTRICT 1 REPRESENTED THE 18 LOCAL LEAGUES IN NWI TO LLI. DISTRICT 1 PROVIDED TOURNAMENT SCHEDULING AS PART OF THE INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT, OFFERED CONFLICT RESOLUTION TO LOCAL LEAGUES, RECRUITED & TRAINED UMPIRES, SOUGHT NEW LEAGUE OPPORTUNITIES IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES. THE DISTRICT WAS ABLE TO OBTAIN A FACILITY OF THEIR OWN TO SERVE AS A MEETING AND TRAINING FACILITY FOR THE LOCAL LEAGUES & THEIR PERSONNEL. THIS FACILITY IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR INDIVIDUAL, TEAM, AND UMPIRE TRAINING. DISTRICT 1 IS SERVING A VERY DIVERSE COMMUNITY COVERING 5 COUNTIES. DISTRICT STAFF TRAVELS TO INDIVIDUAL LEAGUES TO PERFORM TRAINING AS WELL.
