THIS PROGRAM OFFERS EQUINE-GUIDED EDUCATION IN THE CLASSROOM COMBINED WITH HANDS-ON HORSE EXPERIENCE THAT WILL INCLUDE ALL ASPECTS OF HORSEMANSHIP FROM THE GROUND UP.TRRFCC HORSEMANSHIP EDUCATION OBJECTIVES INCLUDE: . SAFETY FIRST, FUN ALWAYS . BASIC HORSEMANSHIP AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING GROOMING, SADDLING AND RIDING . ESTABLISH TRRFCC CHARACTER EDUCATION THROUGH HORSES . IMPROVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS (VERBAL AND NONVERBAL) . TEAM AND LEADERSHIP BUILDING . IMPROVE SELF-ESTEEM AND SELF-CONFIDENCETHIS PROGRAM WILL REACH ALL 3RD - 6TH GRADE STUDENTS (ALMOST 400 CHILDREN) AT HORSESHOE TRAILS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AS WELL AS SERVE THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE BY OFFERING RENTAL FACILITIES FOR PUBLIC EQUINE RELATED EVENTS. THESE EVENTS WILL HELP CREATE REVENUE OPPORTUNITIES FOR HORESHOE TRAILS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AS WELL AS PROMOTE EQUINE-CENTRIC ACTIVITIES THAT WILL REFLECT, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN THE CHARACTER AND VALUES OF THE COMMUNITY.
