IT OPERATES AN INTERPRETIVE CENTER FACILITY IN THE CACHE NATIONAL FOREST NEAR LOGAN UTAH. IT PROVIDES NATURE AND SCIENCE-RELATED WORKSHOPS FOR SCHOOL CLASSES, A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL NATURE WALKS, STORY TIME, A NATURE PRESCHOOL, SUMMER DAY CAMPS FOR YOUTH, AS WELL AS WORKSHOPS FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS. THESE INCLUDE THE STATE'S FIRST AND LONGEST RUNNING NATURE PRESCHOOL WHICH BLENDS OUTDOOR LEARNING WITH MONTESSORI PRINCIPLES. STUDENT TO TEACHER RATIOS ARE THE LOWEST OF ANY PRESCHOOL PROGRAM IN CACHE VALLEY AT 4:1, AND CURRICULA ARE STUDENT-DRIVEN TO MAXIMIZE ENGAGEMENT AND LEARNING.FOR OLDER STUDENTS, STOKES PROVIDES SCHOOL PROGRAMS WHICH ALIGN UTAH STATE SEED STANDARDS WITH LOCAL NATURE EXPLORATION FOR PRE K-12 STUDENTS.
