IECA ACCOMPLISHES ITS MISSION BY FOCUSING ITS EFFORTS IN THREE MAJOR AREAS. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IS PROVIDED THROUGH ANNUAL AND REGIONAL CONFERENCES, SHORT COURSES, SEMINARS, PUBLICATIONS, ON-LINE COURSES AND FIELD DAYS. IECA ESTABLISHES AND FOSTERS THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS FOR EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PRODUCTIONS, SYSTEMS AND INSTALLATION PROCEDURES. THROUGH THE PROVISION OF TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE, IECA PROVIDES A CRUCIAL ROLE IN DEVELOPING REGIONAL CHAPTERS THROUGOUT THE WORLD. APPROXIMATELY 1,800 MEMBERS WERE SERVED DURING FISCAL 2020-21.
