TALBERT SERVICES, INC. OWNS PROPERTY, FURNITURE AND FIXTURES AND RENTS THESE ASSETS TO TALBERT HOUSE AND OTHER ASSOCIATED EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES A DEVELOPMENT FEE FOR PROVIDING CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TO LOW INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDIT PROJECTS THAT THEY HOLD AN OWNERSHIP INTEREST IN THROUGH ONE OF THEIR SUBSIDIARIES. FINALLY, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SHORT TERM SOBER LIVING FACILITIES AND OTHER MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS COPING WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE.
