STEP-UP DROP-IN CENTER - THIS CENTER IN LATROBE, PA PROVIDES ADULT MENTAL HEALTH CONSUMERS A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE NETWORK OF PEER SUPPORT, RECREATION, AND EDUCATION. MEMBERS RECEIVE THE POSITIVE PEER SUPPORT THEY NEED TO REMAIN HEALTHY AND CONTINUE ALONG THEIR CONTINUUM OF RECOVERY.
EXTERNAL ADVOCATE SERVICES AT TORRANCE STATE HOSPITAL - ASSIST PATIENTS WITH CONCERNS THEY HAVE REGARDING THEIR RIGHTS, TREATMENT AND ENVIRONMENT WHILE AT TORRANCE STATE HOSPITAL. THE EXTERNAL ADVOCATE ALSO PROVIDES ADVOCACY SERVICES TO THE PA SRTP ACT-21 PROGRAM AND THE FORENSIC UNIT, ALSO LOCATED ON THE STATE HOSPITAL GROUNDS.
