Describe the Organization's Mission:
Part 3 - Line 1
OUR MISSION IS TO SHAPE A WORLD FREE OF SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AND BROKENNESS BY PROVIDING CHRISTIAN SOLUTIONS IN A SEXUALIZED CULTURE. WE EQUIP PARENTS AND COLLEGE STUDENTS TO LEAD A LIFESTYLE OF PRAYER, UNDERSTANDING, RESOLVE, AND ENGAGEMENT THAT PURSUES JESUS, CULTIVATES HEALING AND FREEDOM, AND LIVES OUT THE CLASSIC CHRISTIAN SEXUAL ETHIC, INCLUDING FIDELITY AND EXCLUSIVITY WITHIN THE "ONE FLESH" MARITAL UNION OF ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN, AND CELIBACY IN SINGLENESS, BOTH OF WHICH ARE GIFTS FROM GOD.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
OUR VISION IS A WORLD FREE OF SEXUAL BROKENNESS. IT IS BOLD, BUT IT IS SURE AND WE BELIEVE THAT JESUS WILL RETURN AND MAKE ALL THINGS NEW. UNTIL THAT DAY, WE EQUIP FOLLOWERS OF JESUS TO PURSUE A WORLD FREE BY SIMPLY PURSUING MORE OF HIM. ESSENTIALLY, WE ARE REFRAMING HOW THE CHURCH (BIG 'C' - MEANING ALL CHURCHES/CHRIST FOLLOWERS - NOT JUST ONE BUILDING OR DENOMINATION) TALKS ABOUT SEXUAL PURITY. WE ARE EQUIPPING PEOPLE TO SHARE GOD'S STORY OF SEX WITH CONFIDENCE AND TO NAVIGATE A SEXUALIZED, DIGITAL AGE WITH HOPE. PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS THE GOAL OF OUR PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS ARE TO REFRAME THE CONVERSATION ABOUT PURITY. PROCLAIM HOPE AND EQUIP MEN AND WOMEN TO LEAD THEIR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES IN THE PURSUIT OF PURITY. FOR EXAMPLE, DURING THE PANDEMIC, OUR TEAM DEVELOPED A FIVE-PART SERIES CALLED "THE PURSUIT" TO TRAIN LEADERS AND MINISTRY ADVOCATES ALL OVER THE WORLD. THE PUREHOPE APP - THIS NEW PLATFORM CREATES MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO REACH PEOPLE WITH THE MESSAGE OF PUREHOPE. IT IS ANOTHER PLATFORM PEOPLE CAN USE EASILY AND FREQUENTLY TO ACCESS OUR CONTENT AND RESOURCES. A WORLD FREE: THE PUREHOPE PODCAST - DURING SEASON TWO, THE PODCAST REACHED OVER 5000 LISTENERS. WE STARTED TO SPARK ONGOING CONVERSATIONS ABOUT SEX IN REAL LIFE AND GOD'S DESIGN. WE'VE ALSO BEEN FEATURED ON OTHER TOP PODCASTS (SUCH AS MEN IN THE ARENA, HUSBAND MATERIAL, CULTURE MATTERS, AND PARDON THE MESS). THROUGH THOSE GUEST APPEARANCES, AND NOW A FORMAT TWEAK INTO SEASON 3, OUR PODCAST LISTENERSHIP HAS MORE THAN DOUBLED AND WE HAVE REACHED SIGNIFICANTLY MORE. PUREHOPE EVENTS THE PUREHOPE PURSUIT TRAINING TO TRAIN LEADERS AND MINISTRY ADVOCATES ALL OVER THE WORLD ('TRAIN THE TRAINER'). TO DATE, WE HAVE TRAINED LEADERS DOMESTICALLY, IN AFRICA, AND THE PHILIPPINES (INTERNATIONALLY). THE PUREHOPE CONFERENCE MESSAGE IS "THE PURSUIT: HOW TO FIND PURE HOPE IN A SEXUALIZED, DIGITAL AGE." OUR GOAL IS TO GROW THE NUMBER OF CONFERENCES WE HAVE EACH YEAR. OUR TEAM PARTNERS WITH CHURCHES, CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS, AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO BRING CLEAR, SCRIPTURAL TEACHINGS INFUSED WITH PANEL DISCUSSION, Q&A, ROUND TABLES, AND NEXT-STEP RESOURCES. THE PRIMARY OUTREACH MAY BE TO SINGLE OR MARRIED MEN AND/OR WOMEN, SINGLE PARENTS, TWO-PARENT HOMES, GRANDPARENTS, OR DEDICATED MENTORS OF ALL AGES AND LIFE STAGES. DEPENDING ON THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES, THEIR MOST PRESSING CULTURAL ISSUE MAY BE POLYGAMY, PORNOGRAPHY, OR CONFUSION ABOUT GOD'S PURPOSES FOR SEX. CURRENTLY WE ARE PARTNERING WITH LEADERS DOMESTICALLY AND IN SOUTHWEST AFRICA, SOUTHEAST ASIA, AND LATIN AMERICA. THE NEED IS GREAT AND THERE IS MUCH OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPANSION.
