THE PURPOSES OF THE ORGANIZATION ARE TO DEFEND HUMAN AND CIVIL RIGHTS SECURED BY LAW,INCLUDING THE RIGHT OF INDIVIDUALS TO EQUAL PROTECTION UNDER THE LAW,THROUGH LITIGATION AND ANY OTHER LAWFUL MEANS.

THE ORGANIZATION SUCCESSFULLY WON TWO LAWSUITS AT THE SUPREME COURT AGAINST HARVARD UNIVERSITY AND THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL, ALLEGING THAT THESE UNIVERSITIES ARE VIOLATING THE FOURTEENTH AMENDMENT AND TITLE VI OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964 BY ENGAGING IN RACIAL DISCRIMINATION IN THEIR ADMISSIONS PROCESSES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO CONTINUED TO LITIGATE A LAWSUIT IN FEDERAL COURT AGAINST THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS-AUSTIN CONCERNING CLAIMS OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION IN THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS.


THE ORGANIZATION DONATED FUNDS TO AMERICAN ALLIANCE FOR EQUAL RIGHTS TO AID IT IN ITS CORPORATE MISSION.
