Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
THE SIGNATURE FEARLESS DIALOGUES MODEL UTILIZES A UNIQUE COMBINATION OF RADICAL HOSPITALITY, INTERACTIVE EXERCISES, SMALL-GROUP DISCUSSION, LARGE GROUP REFLECTION, AND HIGH-IMPACT THEORY-BASED MINI LECTURES ON DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION, IMPLICIT BIAS, AND CONFLICT TRANSFORMATION. RECOGNIZING THE SENSITIVITY OF THE SUBJECT MATTER AND THE DIVERSITY OF PERSPECTIVES, THIS FUSION OF TEACHING APPROACHES APPEALS TO PARTICIPANTS ACROSS GENERATIONAL, CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL, RACIAL AND CLASS LINES. TO DATE, FEARLESS DIALOGUES HAS SERVED OVER 50,000 PEOPLE, HELPING THEM TO CULTIVATE CULTURES OF CHANGE IN THEIR RESPECTIVE COMMUNITIES.FEARLESS DIALOGUES CREATES SPACES FOR TRANSFORMATION LIKE NONE OTHER. IT'S OUR NICHE. RADICAL HOSPITALITY LESSENS ANXIETY, REDUCES POWER DIFFERENCES, AND LEVELS THE PLAYING FIELD FOR HARD CONVERSATIONS TO OCCUR. ARTISTIC MEDIUMS, INCLUDING VISUAL ART, SPOKEN WORD POETRY, AND LIVE MUSIC, REFRAME STERILE AND HOSTILE ENVIRONMENTS INTO SPACES FOR LIVELY AND ENGAGING INTERACTION. THEORY AND RESEARCH-BASED EXERCISES (CALLED 'EXPERIMENTS') HEIGHTEN AWARENESS, ENHANCE VULNERABLE TRUTH-SHARING, AND FOSTER CONNECTIONS.THREE PILLARS - SEE. HEAR. CHANGE.WE BELIEVE THAT UNTIL YOU SEE A PERSON AS A WHOLE BEING, YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO HEAR THE PERSON'S STORY AS VALUABLE AND POTENTIALLY INFORMATIVE. COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO DO NOT SEE AND HEAR EACH OTHER AS PERSONS OF WORTH ARE UNABLE TO COLLABORATE AND WORK TOWARD CHANGE. FEARLESS DIALOGUES BRIDGES THE GAP BY CREATING SPACES TO SEE THE INVISIBLE, HEAR THE SILENCED, AND WORK FOR CHANGE FOR SELF AND OTHER.
