SCHOLARSHIPS: SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO GRADUATING STUDENTS FROM YPAS INTERESTED IN PERSUING THE ARTS THROUGH TRADITIONAL AND NON-TRADITIONAL ROUTES. A BONUS $500 SCHOLARSHIP IS AWARDED TO THE STUDENT SCORING THE HIGHEST DURING THE FULL INTERVIEW AND APPLICATION PROCESS AS DETERMINED BY THE SCHOLARSHIP REVIEW COMMITTEE.
DEPARTMENTAL FUNDING: WE FUND ONGOING ENRICHMENT OF YPAS STUDENTS IN EACH OF THE 9 DEPARTMENTS, INCLUDING SPECIALIZED COACHES/INSTRUCTORS, MASTER CLASSES, ACCOMPANISTS (FOR REHEARSALS, PERFORMANCES, AND AUDITIONS), SOFTWARE USED BY MUSICIANS, VOCAL MAJORS, AND OTHERS TO RECORD AND IMPROVE THEIR PERFORMANCE, INSTRUMENTS AND MUSIC/SCRIPT MATERIALS, VIP NIGHTS AT OUR MAIN STAGE SHOWS, AND OTHER SPECIAL REQUESTS AS NEEDED.
STUDENT SERVICES AND OTHER PROGRAMS: WE COORDINATE AND PROVIDE FUNDING FOR STUDENT AND OTHER SERVICES INCLUDING CAREER DAY WHERE COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVES PRESENT THEIR PROGRAMS TO THE SENIORS TO ASSIST THEM IN MAKING COLLEGE CHOICES; AN ORIENTATION POTLUCK MEAL FOR NEW AND CURRENT FAMILIES TO INFORM THEM OF PROGRAMS AND OPPORTUNITIES; SENIOR NIGHT; VARIOUS ACCOMPANISTS AND INSTRUCTORS; PIANO MAINTENANCE; AND TEACHER APPRECIATION.
