PROGRAM SERVICES EXPAND THE SCOPE AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF MUSIC EDUCATION IN ILLINOIS SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, AND UNIVERSITIES, BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE. SUCH SERVICES PROMOTE MUSIC LEARNING FOR PERSONS OF ALL AGES.PROGRAM SERVICES ALSO FOSTER THE UTILIZATION OF ALL RESOURCES AND ADVANCEMENTS IN THE FIELD OF MUSIC INSTRUCTION THROUGH DISTRICT AND STATE MEETINGS DEVOTED TO TEACHER IMPROVEMENT AND STUDENT PERFORMANCE; PUBLICATION OF APPROPRIATE COMMUNICATION VEHICLES, SUCH AS THE MAGAZINE; AND SPONSORSHIP OF WORKSHOPS, FESTIVALS, ACTIVITIES, CONFERENCES, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES.
