FRIENDSHIP HOUSE III, INC. IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION FORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT STATUTES OF THE STATE OF INDIANA. THE CORPORATION WAS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A 167 UNIT COMMUNITY KNOWN AS CROOKED CREEK TOWER, LOCATED IN INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, AND A 140 UNIT COMMUNITY KNOWN AS SOUTHDALE TOWER, LOCATED IN ANDERSON, INDIANA, BOTH OF WHICH PROVIDE HOUSING FOR LOW INCOME ELDERLY PERSONS PURSUANT TO SECTION 202 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT, AS AMENDED. PRIOR TO APRIL 12, 2012, EACH PROJECT HAD ITS OWN MORTGAGE NOTE. ON APRIL 12, 2012, THE INDIVIDUAL MORTGAGES OF THE PROPERTIES WERE REFINANCED INTO ONE COMBINED MORTGAGE UNDER SECTION 207 PURSUANT TO SECTION 223(F) OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT.
