HEAD START PROGRAM: HEAD START IS A FEDERALLY FUNDED PROGRAM PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE EARLY EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE HEAD START PROGRAM SEEKS TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY AND HELP FAMILIES BECOME AND STAY SELF-SUFFICIENT.
COMMUNITY SERVICES: PROGRAMS PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO ELIGIBLE CLIENTS FOR SERVICE SUCH AS UTILITIES, RENT, LIFE SKILLS, PRODUCE, MONEY MANAGEMENT, ETC.
EMERGENCY SERVICES: PROGRAM PROVIDES EMERGENCY SERVICES TO PICKAWAY COUNTY RESIDENTS.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE: TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, LOW INCOME HOUSING AND HOME IMPROVEMENT SERVICES TO THE ELDERLY AND LOW-INCOME DEMOGRAPHICS.
