THE PESTICIDE-FREE SOIL PROJECT (PFSP) TRAINS YOUNG PEOPLE TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND ORGANIZE EVENTS ON THE HEALTH EFFECTS OF PESTICIDE USE, PARTICULARLY FOR FARMWORKERS AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH A GOAL OF REDUCING AND ELIMINATING PESTICIDE USE AT SCHOOL SITES AND THE SURROUNDING NEIGHBORHOODS ON THE CENTRAL COAST OF CALIFORNIA.
