LINDSEY HOUSE PROVIDES LONG-TERM SHELTER AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO MOTHERS CARING FOR CHILDREN. SUPPORT IS PROVIDED AS THEY TRANSITION FROM HOMELESSNESS, LEARN IMPORTANT LIFE SKILLS, AND REGAIN THE CONFIDENCE TO BECOME SELF-SUFFICIENT. SHELTER IS PROVIDED DAILY FOR AN AVERAGE OF 24 FAMILIES ON A REGULAR BASIS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. TRAINING IS PROVIDED ON BUDGETING, DEBT REDUCTION, EMPLOYMENT STABILITY, CAREER PREPARATION, PROBLEM SOLVING, TIME MANAGEMENT, PLANNING, COMMUNICATION, AND FAMILY SUPPORT.
