OUTREACH AND ADVOCACY: THE OUTREACH AND ADVOCACY DEPARTMENT ADVOCATED FOR MAJOR LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES SUCH AS THE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN, INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT & JOBS ACT, AND THE INFLATION REDUCTION ACT. THE DEPARTMENT CONDUCTED EXTENSIVE MESSAGE RESEARCH, CREATED DIGITAL CONTENT, AND WORKED WITH A WIDE RANGE OF PARTNERS (ORGANIZATIONS AND ELECTED OFFICIALS) TO ADVANCE THESE LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES INTO LAW.
POLICY PROGRAMS: PUBLIC POLICY RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS WAS CONDUCTED ACROSS FIVE CROSS-CUTTING PRIORITIES: DEMOCRACY, ECONOMY, CLIMATE, RACIAL EQUITY AND JUSTICE, AND HEALTH.
