CUMU PROGRAMMING AND OPERATIONS - CUMU PROVIDED VARIOUS PROGRAMMING ANDINITIATIVES THROUGHOUT FY 2022 FOR ITS MEMBERS, INCLUDING THE LEARNING & SHARING VIRTUAL SERIES, PRESIDENTIAL PROGRAMMING, THE ANCHOR LEARNING NETWORK, ACTION SUMMITS, WEBINARS, AND OTHER INITIATIVES.
CUMU DID NOT HOST AN IN-PERSON ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN OCTOBER 2021 DUE TO THECOVID-19 PANDEMIC. HOWEVER, THE IN-PERSON CONFERENCE WAS EXPECTED TO RETURN IN OCTOBER 2022 AND MINIMAL CONFERENCE-RELATED EXPENSES WERE INCURRED IN FY22,INCLUDING THE CONFERENCE PLATFORM SOFTWARE AND TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR ON-SITE CONFERENCE PLANNING PURPOSES.
CUMU PUBLISHES THE METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITIES JOURNAL, WHICH DISSEMINATES SCHOLARSHIP AND RESEARCH RELEVANT TO URBAN AND METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITIES. THE JOURNAL IS A PEER-REVIEWED, OPEN ACCESS PUBLICATION AND PRESENTS CRITICAL-EVIDENCE BASED STUDIES AND PERSPECTIVES RELEVANT TO URBAN AND METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITIES.
