DRIVEN BY THE STATE SCIENCE STANDARDS, THE PROGRAM STRENGTHEN STUDENTS AND TEACHERS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS. EARTHGEN COLLABORATES WITH EDUCATORS, SCHOOL DISTRICTS, SCIENTISTS, AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO MAKE CLIMATE CHANGE LEARNING AND ACTION ACCESSIBLE AND RELEVANT FOR YOUTH AND COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE STATE.
ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE UNITS: EARTHGENS SCIENCE UNITS HELP TEACHERS INCREASE STUDENTS ENVIRONMENTAL LITERACY AND BUILD THEIR CRITICAL THINKING, COLLABORATION, AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS IN CULTURALLY RELEVANT WAYS. STORMWATER STEWARDS: STORMWATER STEWARDS BUILDS STUDENTS KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR LOCALWATERSHEDS AND SOURCES OF POLLUTION, AND DESIGN GREEN STORMWATER SOLUTIONS THAT IMPROVE COMMUNITY HEALTH. TEACHERS RECEIVE RESOURCES AND TRAINING AND STUDENTS CONNECT WITH PROFESSIONALS FROM ENVIRONMENTAL CAREERS.
