DISTRIBUTION OF EDUCATIONAL AND INTERPRETIVE MATERIALS TO VISITORS AND USERS OF ALASKA'S PUBLIC LANDS. APPROXIMATELY ONE MILLION INDIVIDUALS WERE PROVIDED INFORMATION ABOUT 35 NATIONAL PARKS, FORESTS, AND OTHER PUBLICLY HELD LANDS.
DEVELOPMENT AND PRESENTATION OF EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR TEACHERS, YOUTH, GUIDES AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. PROGRAMS ARE BOTH DAILY AND MULTI-DAY IN LENGTH. MANY ARE AVAILABLE FOR COLLEGE AND CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS. PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED IN NATIONAL PARKS, FORESTS, REFUGES, AND OTHER PUBLIC LANDS IN ALASKA. MORE THAN 100 PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED.
PRODUCTION OF VISITOR GUIDES, CLASSROOM CURRICULUM, BOOKS, FILMS, AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS.
