WHOLE EARTH NATURE SCHOOL OPERATES OUTDOOR SCHOOL PROGRAMS UNDER THE NAME OF COYOTE OUTDOOR SCHOOL THAT PROVIDED SERVICES FOR 1265 STUDENTS IN GRADES 5 & 6. ALL OUTDOOR SCHOOL FUNDING IS PROVIDED BY OREGON STATE TO CREATE PROGRAMMING WHICH HAS ZERO COSTS TO FAMILIES OR SCHOOLS OR SCHOOL DISTRICTS ELIMINATING THE NEED FOR GRANTS TO BE GIVEN OUT BY WHOLE EARTH NATURE SCHOOL FOR THIS PROGRAM.
WHOLE EARTH NATURE SCHOOL OPERATES SUMMER NATURE CAMPS WHICH SERVED 634 CHILDREN DURING 2021 FROM THE AGES OF 3 TO 17. CAMPS INCLUDED TRAINING IN NATURALIST STUDIES OUTDOOR SURVIVAL SKILLS AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY SKILLS. ALL CAMPS TOOK PLACE OUTDOORS AT LOCAL PARKS AND OPEN SPACES. 98 FAMILIES RECEIVED SCHOLARSHIP ASSISTANCE IN THE FORM OF DISCOUNTED TUITION.
WHOLE EARTH NATURE SCHOOL OPERATES IMMERSION PROGRAMS DURING THE SCHOOL DAY AND AS WELL AS AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS UNDER THE PROGRAM NAME COYOTE KIDS. 339 STUDENTS IN GRADES K-5 WERE SERVED. THE PROGRAMS WERE OPERATED AT LOCAL PARKS AND OPEN SPACES IN COOPERATION WITH PARK ADMINISTRATORS. 36 FAMILIES RECEIVED EQUITY SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE FORM OF DISCOUNTED TUITION.
