FLOWER POWER - AS A SYMBOL OF HOPE AND SUPPORT, WE SEND A FRESH BOUQUET OF FLOWERS TO PATIENTS AT OCONOMOWOC MEMORIAL HOSPITAL DURING THEIR INITIAL APPOINTMENT FOR CHEMOTHERAPY.
PEOPLE POWER - OUR CARE CANCER ASSISANCE RELIEF ENCOURAGEMENT PROGRAM FOCUS ON THE PRACTICAL CONCERNS, OUT OF POCKET COSTS AND DAILY LIVING NEEDS THAT ARISE FROM LIVING WITH CANCER. BY HELPING ALLEVIATE SOME OF THE DAILY STRESSES ASSOCIATED WITH A CANCER DIAGNOSIS, PEOPLE ARE ABLE TO PLACE MORE FOCUS ON THEIR HEALTH, HAPPINESS AND THOSE THEY LOVE. TO ACHIEVE THIS WE PROVIDE LIMITED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND FREE SERVICES TO HELP CANCER FIGHTERS ADDRESS SOME OF THE NON-MEDICAL CHALLENGES THAT INSURANCE DOESNT COVER.
CHEMO CARE TOTES - WE ALSO DISTRIBUTE CHEMO CARE TOTE BAGS AND ORAL CARE KITS TO PATIENTS AT OTHER LOCAL CANCER CENTERS THAT ARE FILLED WITH A VARIETY OF ITEMS TO PROVIDE MUCH-NEEDED COMFORT AND RELIEF TO INDIVIDUALS BEGINNING TREATMENT.
