CHICAGOLAND CANCER INFORMATION COALITION (CCIC) IS COMPRISED OF ADVOCACY GROUPS, SOCIAL SERVICE, VOLUNTARY AND COMMUNITY-BASED HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS AS WELL AS CITY AND COUNTY DEPARTMENT DEDICATED AND COMMITTED IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER. CCIC PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS BELIEVE THAT ALL INDIVIDUALS DESERVE ACCESS TO QUALITY CANCER RESOURCE INFORMATION REGARDLESS OF AGE, RACE, GENDER OR FINANCIAL CONDITION. CCIC IS A PROGRAM OF A SILVER LINING FOUNDATION.
ESTABLISHED IN 2006, BUY A MOM A MAMMOGRAM PROVIDES COST-FREE BREAST HEALTH TESTING FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNINSURED, UNDERINSURED OR INELIGIBLE FOR OTHER BREAST HEALTH TESTING PROGRAMS. ASLF DOESN'T EXCLUDE ANYONE BASED ON AGE, RESIDENCY, OR SOCIOECONOMICS. THE ONLY REQUIREMENT IS NEED. ON SEPTEMBER 24, 2012 THE EVELYN GOLDBERG MAMMOGRAPHY CENTER, NAMED IN HONOR OF DR. SANDY'S LATE MOTHER, WAS UNVEILED. PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS THE EVELYN GOLDBERG CENTER (EST. 2004), AS AN INFORMATIONAL AND RESOURCE HUB, THE NEW EVELYN GOLDBERG MAMMOGRAPHY CENTER IS AN OUTGROWTH OF ASLF'S BUY A MOM A MAMMOGRAM PROGRAM.
