Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
FROM APRIL 1, 2021 THROUGH MARCH 31, 2022, THE ORGANIZATION COORDINATED, SUBSIDIZED, PUBLICIZED AND COORDINATED THE PRESENTATION OF THE PORTION OF ITS ANNUAL SONG FESTIVAL THAT COULD BE PRESENTED, GIVEN THE LIMITATIONS IMPOSED BY COVID-19 THAT CAUSED SOME OF OUR PERFORMING PARTNERS TO CANCEL THEIR FESTIVAL PERFORMANCES. DURING OUR FESTIVAL SEASON, HOWEVER, ARIZONA OPERA, THE TUCSON GUITAR SOCIETY, THE TUCSON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, BALLET TUCSON AND ARIZONA THEATER COMPANY WERE ABLE TO PRESENT PROGRAMS TO FESTIVAL AUDIENCES. WE WERE ALSO ABLE TO PRESENT THE WORLD PREMIERE RECITAL OF A COMPOSITION CREATED FOR THE TUCSON DESERT SONG FESTIVAL. THOUGH OUR FESTIVAL WAS MORE LIMITED THAN USUAL, BECAUSE OF ARTIST CANCELLATIONS, WE WERE PLEASED TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO OFFER OUR AUDIENCES IN TUCSON AND BEYOND A RANGE OF WORLD-CLASS PERFORMANCE.
