FOUNDED IN 2010 BY TENZIN WANGYAL RINPOCHE, A TIBETAN MEDITATION MASTER, THE 3 DOORS IS A VIBRANT, EVER-EXPANDING PRACTITIONER COMMUNITY COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING ONE'S NATURAL INCLINATION TO SERVE THE WELL-BEING OF OTHERS. OUR SIGNATURE PROGRAM IS THE 3 DOORS ACADEMY, A SERIES OF RETREATS TAKING PLACE OVER TWO AND A HALF YEARS THAT GUIDES PARTICIPANTS TO EXPLORE THE POWER OF MEDITATION AND COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT SELF-DISCOVERY, PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION, AND ACTIONS THAT BENEFIT OTHERS.THE 3 DOORS ALSO OFFERS PROGRAMS OF VARIOUS LENGTHS ONLINE AND IN PERSON TO DEEPEN AND REFRESH ONE'S MEDITATION PRACTICE. THIS INCLUDES OUR 9-MONTH COMPASSION PROJECT, INITIALLY DESIGNED FOR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS, EDUCATORS, AND THERAPISTS AND OPEN TO ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE SUPPORT IN BUILDING A MEDITATION PRACTICE AND APPLYING MEDITATION TO PROCESS DIFFICULT SITUATIONS WITH MORE EASE, REDUCE STRESS AND BURNOUT, AND RESPOND TO OTHERS FROM A PLACE OF PRESENCE AND COMPASSION. ATTENDANCE IS FREE FOR MANY OF OUR ONGOING COMMUNITY PRACTICES, AND WE OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS FOR OUR LARGER COURSES.IN 2023, 661 PEOPLE IN 38 COUNTRIES RECEIVED MEDITATION TRAINING AND SUPPORT THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS. 36 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT TO ATTEND, WORTH A TOTAL OF $45,835. IN ADDITION, OUR 66 AUTHORIZED 3 DOORS MEDITATION PRESENTERS GUIDED THOUSANDS MORE PEOPLE IN MEDITATION IN THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT 15 COUNTRIES.ONE ACADEMY PARTICIPANT SHARED, "THE 3 DOORS ACADEMY IS AN AMAZING AND SOMETIMES BEWILDERING PROCESS THAT LEADS TO LIFE CHANGES-TINY CHANGES AND IMPORTANT CHANGES.
