THE BUGGY BUNCH IS DEDICATED TO BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS AND MEETING THE NEEDS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY MOMS AND THEIR FAMILIES. WE EXIST TO SHARE THE LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST THROUGH PROGRAMMING, OUTREACH, AND DISCIPLESHIP.

"MOM'S MINISTRY" - BIBLE STUDIES: MOMS PARTICIPATE IN ONE OF AT LEAST TEN ANNUAL BIBLE STUDIES WHILE RECIEVING FREE CHILDCARE. PAST LOCATIONS HAVE INCLUDED: FIRST CHURCH OF GOD, VERO BEACH CHURCH OF CHRIST, CHRIST CHURCH VERO BEACH, TRINITY EPISCOPAL, FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, VINCENT'S PIZZERIA. THIS PROGRAMMING MEETS YEAR-ROUND. SINGLE MOMS BIBLE STUDY/SUPPORT GROUP: SINGLE MOMS PARTICIPATE IN TWO HOUR BIBLE STUDIES WHILE RECEIVING FREE CHILDCARE. PROGRAMMING OCCURS AS NEEDED. CHILDREN'S MINISTRY: WHILE MOMS ATTEND A BIBLE STUDY, CHILDREN LEARN ABOUT JESUS CHRIST IN A SAFE AND LOVING ENVIRONMENT. INTERCESSORY PRAYER GROUP: STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS PRAY FOR AND WITH MOMS. BEREAVEMENT BIBLE STUDY: MOMS WHO HAVE SUFFERED A MSCARRIAGE, STILLBIRTH, TUBAL PREGNANY, OR INFANT LOSS MEET ONCE A MONTH TO ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER WHILE PARTICIPATING IN A BIBLE STUDY.
"FAMILY OUTREACH" - TWO AMAZING DATES WERE HELD WHERE PARENTS ARE PROVIDED WITH A PACKET OF INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW ON THEIR DATE TO ENCOURAGE FUN RELATIONSHIP BUILDING WHILE CHILDCARE IS PROVIDED. ONE MARRIAGE NIGHT WAS SIMULCAST WHERE MARRIAGE TOPICS WERE PRESENTED VIA LIVESTREAM FROM RIGHT NOW MEDIA. CHILDCARE WAS PROVIDED. ALL PARENTS REGISTERED WITH THE BUGGY BUNCH HAVE ACCESS TO RIGHT NOW MEDIA FOR FREE. RIGHT NOW MEDIA PROVIDES CHRISTIAN BASED CHILDRENS TV SHOWS, SEMINARS, BIBLE STUDIES, WORKSHOPS VIA TV OR COMPUTER.
DIAPER CLOSET: THE BUGGY BUNCH DIAPER CLOSET PROVIDES DIAPERS TO INDIAN RIVER COUNTY MOMS IN NEED. OUR PARENT EDUCATOR MEETS WITH MOMS MONTHLY TO DISCUSS FAMILY WELL-BEING, CHILD DEVELOPMENT, TO ENCOURAGE PARENT/CHILD ENGAGEMENT, AND TO RECEIVE REFERRALS TO LOCAL COMMUNITY PARTNERS WHEN NEEDED. THIS SERVICE IS AVAILABLE ALL YEAR. THE BUGGY BUNCH RECEIVED A GRANT THROUGH THE UNITED WAY COVID-19 COMMUNITY RESPONSE FUND IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FAMILIES WITH DIAPERS, WIPES, AND FORMULA.
