FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS PROJECT IGNITE LIGHT HAS HAD THE HONOR OF PROVIDING HURTING CHILDREN OF ABUSE WITH EMERGENCY ITEMS THAT ARE CRUCIAL TO THEIR PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL HEALTH DURING SOME OF THE DARKEST MOMENTS OF THEIR LIVES. AS OUR PROJECT CONTINUES TO GROW IN THE REACHING MORE VULNERABLE CHILDREN WE HAVE REALIZED THE NEED TO EXPAND OUR REACH THROUGH EDUCATION AND AWARENESS. THIS PAST YEAR HAS BEEN FOCUSED ON CONTINUING OUR EFFORTS TO THE CENTERS WE ALREADY SERVE WITH AN ADDITIONAL EMPHASIS ON TRAINING CHURCHES IN OUR NEW PILOT PROGRAM. WE ARE EXCITED AT THE LEVEL OF INTEREST IN COMING FROM CHURCHES ACROSS THE NATION WHO WISH TO SERVE THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITY. THIS ENABLES US TO SPREAD OUT THE COSTS OF CARE BUT ALSO ALLOWS FOR CONTINUING SERVICE BEYOND OUR BACKPACK PROGRAM.
