BIO'S TENTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE, HELD AT THE CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK'S GRADUATE CENTER AND IN FOUR OTHER VENUES IN NEW YORK CITY MAY 17-19, 2019, BROUGHT TOGETHER SOME 225 WORKING BIOGRAPHERS, WOULD-BE BIOGRAPHERS, LITERARY AGENTS AND EDITORS TO TAKE PART IN AN OPENING RECEPTION FEATURING THREE-MINUTE READINGS BY BIOGRAPHERS WHOSE WORKS WERE RECENTLY PUBLISHED, AS WELL AS GUIDED TOURS OF NEW YORK CITY RESEARCH LIBRARIES AND ARCHIVES; AN ALL-DAY SERIES OF PANELS; A PLENARY SESSION AND ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS TO LEARN ABOUT THEIR CRAFT.
