THE PURPOSE OF THESE ISSUE ADVOCACY AND GRASSROOTS LOBBYING ACTIVITIES IS TO PROMOTE POLICIES THAT STRENGTHEN THE NATION'S ECONOMY, REDUCE REGULATION OF PRIVATE SECTOR ACTIVITY, AND RESTORE GOVERNMENT TO A SOUND FINANCIAL FOOTING.

THE FOCUS OF THESE ADVOCACY EFFORTS MAY INCLUDE LEGISLATION, BUDGET PRIORITIES, REGULATIONS, PUBLIC HEARINGS AND INVESTIGATIONS, AND OTHER POLICYMAKING ACTIVITIES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO ENGAGES CITIZENS TO PARTICIPATE IN GRASSROOTS ADVOCACY ON PENDING LEGISLATIVE ISSUES THROUGH PAID ADVERTISING, MAILINGS, E-MAILS, AND WEB-BASED ADVOCACY TOOLS.
