GRANT AWARDS - COFS IS A GRANTMAKING ORGANIZATION THAT ACCEPTS APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDING FROM ORGANIZATIONS WORKING ON THE GROUND AROUND THE WORLD TO REMOVE BARRIERS TO EDUCATION FOR GIRLS AND WOMEN.
SCHOOL BUILDS - IN 2013, COFS BEGAN A SCHOOL BUILD PROGRAM TO COMPLEMENT THE OTHER WAYS WE HELP GIRLS AND WOMEN ACCESS EDUCATION. OUR DONORS FUND THE CONSTRUCTION OF A STRUCTURE CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING FOR GENERATIONS AND EXPECT THAT AS MANY GIRLS AS BOYS ATTEND THESE SCHOOLS. SINCE THE START OF THE PROGRAM, COFS DONORS HAVE FUNDED THE CONSTRUCTION OF OVER 40 SCHOOLS IN REMOTE VILLAGES IN SEVEN COUNTRIES (GUATEMALA, HAITI, MALAWI, MALI, NEPAL, NICARAGUA, AND SENEGAL).
