OUR SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR'S ASSOCIATION, ESDA, TOPPED 500 MEMBERS. OUR ANNUAL GATHERING INCREASED 70% OVER THE PRIOR YEAR. WE HELD A CONFERENCE ON BRINGING SPIRITUAL FORMATION INTO THE CHURCH AND OFFERED ONLINE SEMINARS FOR SPIRITUAL DIRECTORS DEALING WITH THE TRAUMA OF COVID-19.
WE OFFERED AN ADVENT RESOURCE FOR PARENTS TO ENGAGE THEIR CHILDREN IN SPIRITUAL CONVERSATIONS. WE DEVELOPED AN EXPERIENTIAL SERIES OF RESOURCES TO HELP FAMILIES SPIRITUALLY PROCESS THE STRESS OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND ENGAGE IN SHARED SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES. WE ALSO CREATED A DOWNLOADABLE RESOURCE FOR PASTORS TITLED "DISRUPTED", OFFERING A STRUCTURE TO HELP CHURCH LEADERS DISCERN WHAT GOD MIGHT BE INVITING THEM TO DO IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 UNCERTAINTY AND TEMPORARY SHUTDOWN OF THEIR CHURCH SERVICES.
WE CONTINUE TO TRAIN NEW LEADERS FOR OUR SMALL GROUP RESOURCES AND SEE CHURCHES ADOPT THESE TOOLS FOR THEIR WORK IN SPIRITUAL FORMATION. TRAINED LEADERS INCREASED BY ALMOST 10% OVER THE PRIOR YEAR.
