JAI LAO FOCUSES ON SUPPLEMENTARY BASIC EDUCATIONAL AND SAFETY NEEDS OF LAOS STUDENTS IN DEVELOPING RURAL COMMUNITIES OF LAOS, BY INSTALLING BATHROOMS AND WATER IN TARGET SCHOOLS, PROVIDING ELECTRICITY TO CLASSROOMS, REPLACING DIRT FLOORS AND DILAPIDATED CLASSROOMS, REFURBISHING AND RENOVATING DILAPIDATED SCHOOL BUILDINGS, AND PROVIDING PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT FOR SCHOOL YARDS. JAI LAO ALSO ENSURES THAT NEWLY RENOVATED SCHOOLS RECEIVE NECESSARY EDUCATIONAL SUPPLIES TO MAKE LEARNING IN SCHOOL FUN, STIMULATING AND REWARDING, BY PROVIDING TARGET SCHOOLS WITH TEXTBOOKS, READERS AND GENERAL SCHOOL SUPPLIES. GRAVITY FED WATER PROJECT WHICH CONSISTED OF MILES OF PIPE RUN DOWNHILL FROM A CLEAN MOUNTAIN WATER SOURCE AND INTO A FILTRATION SYSTEM AND VILLAGE HOLDING TANK. NUMBER PEOPLE BENEFITTED WAS 500.
