OUR ORGANIZATION HELD A VIRTUAL ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETINGS, AND OUR FIRST EVER VIRTUAL FORUM IN OCTOBER 2021. WE HAD 411 MEMBERS FROM MORE THAN 20 COUNTRIES ATTEND ONE OR MORE OF THESE SESSIONS OF 28.5 HOURS OF PRESENTATIONS, PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE AND SHARED LEARNING IN THE CONTEXT OF THE WORLDWIDE COVID 19 PANDEMIC.
OVERSIGHT AND SUPPORT FOR TWO VIRTUAL TRAINING OF NEW TRAINERS HELD IN NOVEMBER 2021. ONE WAS HELD IN THE KOREAN LANGUAGE RUN FROM SOUTH KOREA WITH 19 KOREAN PARTICIPANTS. THE OTHER WAS OFFERED IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH WAS RUN FROM NEW MEXICO, WITH 93 PARTICIPANTS FROM 16 COUNTRIES. THE TRAINING OF NEW TRAINERS ARE DEDICATED TO TRAINING NEW TRAINERS OF MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING IN BEST PRACTICES. THERE WERE 112 NEW TRAINERS FROM 17 COUNTRIES WHO QUALIFIED, AND WERE ADMITTED TO THE ORGANIZATION, TAKING OUR TOTAL MEMBERSHIP TO 1,648 MEMBERS RESIDING IN 43 COUNTRIES.
