OC TRAINED OVER 4,000 YOUNG PEOPLE IN CLIMATE JUSTICE, ORGANIZING, POLICY AND FACILITATED OVER 700 YOUTH-LED MEETINGS WITH ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES TO DISCUSS SOLUTIONS IN LINE WITH OUR POLICY. SOCIAL MEDIA FOLLOWING INCREASED BY 64%, AND POSTS SENT INCREASED BY 210%. OC LAUNCHED A 3 PART MINI DOCUMENTARY TELLING THE STORY OF OC CLIMATE JUSTICE ADVOCATES FROM FRONTLINE COMMUNITIES, REACHING OVER 1.3 MIL PEOPLE. WE LAUNCHED AN ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE FOCUSED CDR INFORMATION CAMPAIGN, AND A NEW COMMUNICATIONS VOLUNTEERS PROGRAM TO TRAIN AND SUPPORT YOUNG CLIMATE ADVOCATES TO CREATE SOCIAL MEDIA AND COMMS CONTENT. WE HELD OUR 2022 CLIMATE JUSTICE SUMMIT IN DC WHERE 30 STUDENTS FROM ACROSS THE US CAME TOGETHER AT THE NATION'S CAPITOL TO CREATE A 250 PIECE PUBLIC ART MOSAIC, ORGANIZE A RALLY WITH SPEAKERS, AND HOST A DAY OF WELLNESS.
