TO HELP EDUCATE THOSE WHO HAVE THE INTEREST AND THE WILL TO DO RESEARCH, TO ENSURE THAT PARTICIPANT RIGHTS AND SAFETY ARE STRICTLY OBSERVED, TO ENSURE THE INTEGRITY OF AAMC'S RESEARCH PROGRAM AND TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITIES AAMC SERVES AS WELL BY OFFERING AN EXPANDED RANGE OF CLINICAL TRIALS AS OPTIONS IN PATIENT CARE. PATIENTS AND THEIR PHYSICIANS CAN DISCUSS THE APPROPRIATENESS OF PROMISING NEW THERAPIES AND PROCEDURES AND CAN EASILY ARRANGE REFERRALS TO PHYSICIANS ON AAMC'S STAFF WHO ARE CONDUCTING THE TRIALS.
