TO PROMOTE, SUPPORT AND STRENGTHEN NURTURING, QUALITY RELATIONSHIPS FOR INFANTS, YOUNG CHILDREN AND THEIR CAREGIVERS.

CT-AIMH OFFERED 4 DIFFERENT AUDIENCE-SPECIFIC VIRTUAL TRAINING SERIES PROGRAMS (1-DCF, 2-CHILDCARE, 1-RS/C) DESIGNED TO SUPPORT THOSE WORKING WITH INFANTS, YOUNG CHILDREN, AND FAMILIES IN BUILDING COMPENTENCIES IN THE INFANT AND EARLY CHILDHOOD AND FAMILY MENTAL HEALTH WORKFORCE. CT-AIMH HELD 40 VIRTUAL TRAINING SESSIONS (13 SESSIONS FOR DCF, 11 SESSIONS FOR CHILDCARE-ENGLISH, 11 SESSIONS FOR CHILDCARE- SPANISH, AND 5 SESSIONS FOR RS/C), WITH 99 ATENDEES FOR DCF SESSIONS, 23 FOR ENGLISH CHILDCARE SESSIONS, 25 FOR SPANISH CARE SESSIONS, AND 23 FOR RS/C SESSIONS. SOME TRAINING PROGRAMS INCLUDED REFLECTIVE SUPERVISION/CONSULTATION GROUPS. 6 REFLECTIVE SUPERVISION GROUPS CONTINUED FROM 2021 INTO 2022, AND 9 NEW GROUPS STARTED IN 2022. 170 WERE TRAINED IN INFANT MENTAL HEALTH AND 86 ATTENDED REFLECTIVE SUPERVISION/CONSULTATION GROUPS (DUPLICATED, IF ENDED A FIRST-YEAR GROUP AND STARTED INTO A SECOND YEAR GROUP).


CT-AIMH CONDUCTED TWO SEMINAR/CONFERENCES OFFERING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO PROFESSIONALS WORKING WITH INFANTS, YOUNG CHILDREN (PRENATAL-6YRS) AND THEIR FAMILIES, WITH THE AIM OF BUILDING COMPENTENCIES IN THE INFANT AND EARLY CHILDHOOD AND FAMILY MENTAL HEALTH WORKFORCE. SEMINARS/CONFERENCES ASSISTED IN SUPPORTING AND ENHANCING RESPONSIVE RELATIONSHIPS, PROMOTING CULTURALLY SENSITIVE PRACTICES, AND ENCOURAGED ATTENDEES TO REFLECT ON THEIR WORK WITH INFANTS, YOUNG CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. ONE CONFERENCE WAS HELD IN THE SPRING AND HAD 140 ATENDEES, AND A SECOND CONFERENCE WAS HELD IN THE FALL (VIRTUAL) AND HAD 200 ATTENDEES, WITH A TOTAL OF 240 CONFERENCE ATTENDEES.
