TO PROMOTE, SUPPORT AND STRENGTHEN NURTURING, QUALITY RELATIONSHIPS FOR INFANTS, YOUNG CHILDREN AND THEIR CAREGIVERS.

OFFERED 3.5 DIFFERENT AUDIENCE SPECIFIC (1-DCF AND 2.5 CHILDCARE) VIRTUAL TRAINING SERIES PROGRAMS (ONE CHILDCARE SERIES WAS 1/2 IN 2020 AND 1/2 IN 2021) DESIGNED TO SUPPORT THOSE WORKING WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN BUILDING COMPENTENCIES IN THE INFANT/TODDLER/FAMILY WORKFORCE. SOME TRAINING PROGRAMS INCLUDED REFLECTIVE SUPERVISION GROUPS. IN ALL, 75 VIRTUAL TRAINING SESSIONS WERE HELD VIRTUALLY DUE TO THE PANDEMIC- (25 SESSIONS FOR 8-TOPIC DCF SERIES, 2.5 OF THE 11-PART CHILDCARE SERIES, 16 WEEKS OF MINDFULNESS AND 5-PART RAISING OF AMERICA FILM SERIES) RANGING BETWEEN 4 AND 112 ATTENDEES. ALSO 8 REFLECTIVE SUPERVISION/CONSULTATION (RS/C) GROUPS CONTINUED INTO 2021 AND 8 NEW RS/C GROUPS STARTED IN 2021. A TOTAL OF 332 WERE TRAINED IN INFANT MENTAL HEALTH AND A TOTAL OF 76 ATTENDED REFLECTIVE SUPERVISION GROUPS.
CONDUCTED TWO SEMINAR/CONFERENCES OFFERING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO THOSE WORKING WITH INFANTS, YOUNG CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES AIMED AT BUILDING COMPENTENCIES IN THE INFANT/TODDLER FAMILY WORKFORCE. SEMINARS ASSISTED IN SUPPORTING AND ENHANCING RESPONSIVE RELATIONSHIPS, PROMOTING CULTURALLY SENSITIVE PRACTICES AND TO HELP ATTENDEES REFLECT ON THEIR WORK WITH FAMILIES AND INFANTS AND YOUNG CHILDREN. ONE CONFERENCE WAS HELD IN THE FALL (149), AND ONE WAS HELD IN THE SPRING (174), WITH A TOTAL OF 323 PARTICIPANTS.
