ADOPTION CONNECTION, PA (ACPA) ASSISTS BIRTH FAMILIES, ADOPTIVE FAMILIES, CHILDREN AND PLACING AGENCIES THROUGH THE ADOPTION JOURNEY AND EDUCATES THE COMMUNITY TO FOSTER AWARENESS ABOUT THE INCREDIBLE LIFE GIVING SACRIFICE OF ADOPTION. ACPA ALSO ASSISTS FOSTER CARE PROGRAMS BY ASSISTING BIRTH FAMILIES, RESOURCE FAMILIES, CHILDREN, AND PLACING AGENCIES THROUGH THE FOSTER CARE AND/OR ADOPTION JOURNEY AND EDUCATES THE COMMUNITY ABOUT THE PROCESS. IN 2021, ACPA SERVED 96 FOSTER AND ADOPTIVE FAMILIES, PARTICIPATED IN FOSTER PLACEMENT OF 144 CHILDREN, PROVIDED LINES OF SERVICE FOR FOSTER CHILDREN PREPARING FOR ADOPTION, PROVIDED COUNSELING FOR 14 BIRTH MOTHERS, AND PROVIDED ADOPTION EDUCATION SERVICES TO BIRTH PARENTS.
