INTERPROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: WE CONVENED REGULAR MEETINGS OF 3 WORKING GROUPS PLUS PROJECT GROUP, 4 SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS AND AD HOC COMMITTEES, PLUS THE ACIH BOARD AND EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, FINANCE COMMITTEE, EACH OF INTERPROFESSIONAL TEAMS CONSISTING OF MEMBERS FROM DIVERSE PROFESSIONS TO IDENTIFY AND FULFILL ON PRIORITIZED PROJECT; INCLUDES THE NCIPH PROJECT, A CLINICAL WORKING GROUP PROJECT AND COLLABORATIONS WITH THE ACADEMIC CONSORTIUM FOR INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE AND HEALTH.
CENTER FOR OPTIMAL INTEGRATION: THE PROJECT (WWW.OPTIMALINTEGRATION.ORG), ENDORSED BY THE ACIH BOARD IN 2011, HAS TWO SIGNIFICANT PROGRAMS: PROJECT TO ENHANCE RESEARCH LITERACY (PERL) AND PROJECT FOR INTEGRATIVE HEALTH AND THE TRIPLE AIM (PIHTA). WE BUILT SIGNIFICANT RESOURCE SITES, CONVENED DIALOGUES AMONG THE ACIH COMMUNITIES VIA WELL-ATTENDED WEBINAR SERIES, CARRIED OUT RESEARCH SURVEYS AND PUBLICIZED RESULTS AND MATERIALS.
AMBASSADORS PROGRAM: IN 2016, WE SUPPORTED THE WORK OF ACIH LEADERS WHO REPRESENTED THE VALUES, PRACTICES AND PROFESSIONS OF INTEGRATIVE HEALTH AND MEDICINE IN MULTIPLE DIALOGUES. EXAMPLES: NATIONAL ACADEMY OF MEDICINE DIVISION OF MEDICINE AND HEALTH, IM4US, PAINS, AND THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR INTEGRATIVE PRIMARY HEALTHCARE (NCIPH). WE ALSO WROTE REPORTS, DEVELOPED SUPPORTING MATERIALS, AND PRESENTED THESE AND OTHER MATERIALS AT KEY NATIONAL MEETINGS.
