IN 2021, THE DIGNITAS TEAM WORKED IN 274 SCHOOLS ACROSS HOMA BAY, KAJIADO, LAIKIPIA, MACHAKOS, AND NAIROBI TO ENSURE 73,843 CHILDREN HAVE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN THE SKILLS AND STRENGTH OF CHARACTER THEY NEED TO THRIVE AND SUCCEED. GIVEN THE ONGOING COMPLEXITIES AND CHALLENGES FACING EDUCATORS AND STUDENTS AS A RESULT OF THE ONGOING COVID PANDEMIC, DIGNITAS CONTINUED TO BUILD UPON INNOVATIONS LAUNCHED IN 2020. DIGNITAS INVESTED SIGNIFICANT TIME AND EXPERTISE IN DESIGNING BLENDED PROGRAM DELIVERY FOR ITS SCHOOL PARTNERS. THE ORGANIZATION PARTNERED WITH GLOBAL SCHOOL LEADERS, GLOBAL SCHOOLS FORUM, EDUCATION ABOVE ALL, REGIONAL EDUCATION LEARNING INITIATIVE, EDTECH EAST AFRICA AND MANY MORE ORGANIZATIONS TO HARNESS STRENGTHS AND ACHIEVE SHARED IMPACT GOALS.DIGNITAS ALSO FURTHER DEVELOPED ITS DIGITAL TRAINING AND COACHING TOOLKIT. IT BUILT NEW PARTNERSHIPS WITH UNIVERSITY OF YORK TO EXPLORE GROUND-BREAKING REMOTE COACHING TOOLS, AND BUILT INNOVATIVE MODELS OF BLENDED TRAINING THAT COMBINED THE STRENGTHS OF IN-PERSON ACTIVITY WITH THE OPPORTUNITIES OF VIRTUAL. IN EXCITING NEWS, THE WORLD BANK AND HUNDRED LISTED DIGNITAS DIGITAL TRAINING AND COACHING TOOLKIT, TITLED LEADNOW, AS ONE OF TOP TEN INNOVATIONS GLOBALLY LEVERAGING TECHNOLOGY FOR TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. DIGNITAS ALSO STEPPED UP ITS MEASUREMENT OF LEARNER OUTCOMES, DETERMINED TO UNDERSTAND HOW ITS PROGRAMS AFFECT FOUNDATIONAL LITERACY, NUMERACY AND 21ST CENTURY SKILLS.
