EXEMPT PURPOSE ACHIEVEMENTS FOR 2022: BY THE END OF THE YEAR WE WENT FROM 17 MATCHES TO 23. EACH MENTOR MEETS WITH THE YOUTH WEEKLY (OR LESS OFTEN, DEPENDING ON HOW LONG THEY HAVE BEEN TOGETHER AND AVAILABILITY) TO DO A FUN ACTIVITY, HELP WITH HOMEWORK OR DISCUSS CHALLENGES OR POSITIVES IN THEIR LIVES. MENTOR EVENTS FOR 2022 INCLUDED: JANUARY VOLUNTEER MENTOR/MENTEE BREAKFAST CELEBRATION. IN FEBRUARY AN OUTDOOR PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE AND TEAM BUILDING WAS HOSTED BY PARKS IN FOCUS. APRIL THERE WERE EIGHT MATCHES THAT ATTENDED THE TOP CHEF EXPERIENCE. MAY WAS THE SUMMER EXTRAVAGANZE WHERE 7 MATCHES ATTENDED. SIX MATCHES ATTENDED THE JUNE EVENT AT ROCK CLIMBING AND 4 PEOPLE WENT THROUGH MENTOR TRAINING, INCLUDING 2 BOARD MEMBERS. AT THE JULY EVENT AT BOARD AND BRUSH THERE WERE SEVEN MATCHES THAT ATTENDED. AUGUST EVENT WAS A BACK TO SCHOOL BOWLING THAT 10 MATCHES ATTENDED. SEPTEMBER WAS KIDS NIGHT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA FOOTBALL GAME, WITH THREE MATCHES ATTENDING. 37 TOTAL ATTENDESS VISITED THE MARANA CORN AND PUMPKIN PATCH IN OCTOBER. THE LAST EVENT FOR THE YEAR WAS THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY WHERE WE PLAYED GAMES AND DECORATED COOKIES. EACH EVENT FOCUSES ON BRINGING OUT MENTORS AND YOUTH TOGETHER FOR FELLOWSHIP AND NEW LIFE EXPERIENCES.
