NOURISH TO FLOURISH - IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BETH DILLINGER FOUNDATION, THIS PROGRAM STRIVES TO FEED CHRONICALLY HUNGRY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN THE TAMPA BAY AREA. A CHRONICALLY HUNGRY CHILD IS DEFINED AS A CHILD WHO GOES TO BED HUNGRY OR HAS INSUFFICIENT FOOD ON THE WEEKENDS. A TOTAL OF $237,790 WAS ALLOCATED FROM THE BETH DILLINGER FOUNDATION TOWARDS THE NOURISH TO FLOURISH PROGRAM.


THE BETH DILLINGER FOUNDATION:BETHS CLOSET/HOPE CHEST - LOCATED IN THE PACE CENTER FOR GIRLS IN PINELLAS PART, FLORIDA. BETHS CLOSET IS A SOURCE OF NEEDED CLOTHING AND SIMPLE FUN FOR THE GIRLS AT PACE. THE GIRLS CAN CHOOSE FROM A VARIETY OF DRESSES, TEE SHIRTS, JEANS, BLOUSES, SKIRTS, JEWELRY, HANDBAGS WHEN THEY VISIT. ON SPECIAL CLOSET DAYS THE GIRLS ARE ALLOWED TO SELECT 2 ITEMS TO TAKE HOME WITH A SPECIAL GIFT.THE HOPE CHEST IS LOCATED IN THE PUBLIC DEFENDERS OFFICES IN CLEARWATER AND NEW PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA. THIS FACILITY ALSO PROVIDES AN ARRAY OF CLOTHING AS WELL AS HYGENIC NEEDS. THE HOPE CHEST SERVES YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE PUBLIC DEFENDERS CROSSOVER PROGRAM OR THOSE UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE GUARDIAN AD LITEMS OFFICE.


THE BETH DILLINGER SCHOLARSHIP FUND - A SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT TO BOYS AND GIRLS WHO WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION BUT DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS TO DO SO. A TOTAL OF $0 WAS ALLOCATED FROM THE BETH DILLINGER FOUNDATION TOWARDS THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND.
