THERE ARE CURRENTLY 43 CHILDREN IN THE CARE OF TWINOMUJUNI CHILDRENS HOME. APPROXIMATELY HALF OF THE CHILDREN ARE NOW YOUNG ADULTS IN HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE, NURSING SCHOOL, AND VARIOUS TRADE SCHOOLS. AS THEY GRADUATE AND BECOME EMPLOYED, THEY WILL BE EXPECTED TO LEAVE THE ORPHANAGE AND BEGIN SUPPORTING THEMSELVES. ONE YOUNG WOMAN JUST GRADUATED WITH A DEGREE IN MASS COMMUNICATIONS AND HAS BEGUN WORKING FOR UGANDA DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND GAME. THREE BOYS HAVE GRADUATED FROM TRADE SCHOOL. WE HAVE ONE WORKING AS A BAKER AND THE OTHER TWO ARE LOOKING FOR EMPLOYMENT AS METAL FABRICATOR AND MECHANIC. PROGRAMS FOR 2022 WERE TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE FOR THE 43 ORPHANS AT VARIOUS STAGES OF LIFE AND EDUCATION. CHILDREN ARE BEING TAUGHT BAKING, COMPUTER AND SEWING SKILLS. BAKERY ITEMS ARE BEING SOLD TO BRING IN SOME INCOME FOR THE ORPHANAGE AND SOON GARMENTS MADE AT THE ORPHANAGE WILL BE SOLD TO SUPPLEMENT INCOME. CARE FOR 5 BOYS (BROTHERS) WHOSE PARENTS ABANDONED THEM CONTINUES. SHEPHERDS LOVE FOUND SPONSORS FOR THE BOYS AND FOR THE YEAR OF 2022 PROVIDED RENTAL OF A SMALL HOUSE, FURNITURE, CLOTHING AND COMMITTED TO ANOTHER YEAR OF FEEDING AND EDUCATING THE BOYS. THE PROGRAM WILL BE REEVALUATED IN 2023. THE HALF OF THE CHILDREN WHO ARE STILL IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CONTINUE TO RECEIVE 100% OF ALL PERSONAL NEEDS INCLUDING HOUSING, CLOTHING, MEDICAL CARE, ACADEMIC AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND ADULT SUPERVISION. JOSEPH HOUSE CONTINUES TO HOUSE AND FEED 5 TO 6 HOMELESS SENIOR CITIZENS.
