THE PURPOSE OF THE WALLA WALLA CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL IS TO FURTHER THE ACCESSIBILITY, PERFORMANCE AND AWARENESS OF THE ART OF CHAMBER MUSIC IN THE WALLA WALLA VALLEY. FOLLOWING THE PANDEMIC SHUTDOWN, THE WALLA WALLA CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL ADAPTED QUICKLY AND SET UP A 2020 SUMMER SERIES OF FREE ONLINE PERFORMANCES. LATER IN THE YEAR THESE FREE PERFORMANCES EVOLVED INTO A MONTHLY VIRTUAL CONCERT HALL WHICH FEATURED 23 FESTIVAL MUSICIANS IN TACOMA, WA, NEW YORK, NY, CHICAGO, IL, BOULDER, CO, COLUMBUS, GA, ANN ARBOR, MI, CHARLESTON SC, AND, FINALLY, WALLA WALLA, WA. IN JUNE 2021 LIVE MUSIC RETURNED. 6 OUTDOOR CONCERTS TOOK PLACE IN WALLA WALLA IN WHICH 19 MUSICIANS AND 1,162 AUDIENCE MEMBERS TOOK PART.
