MUSIC INSTRUCTION: MCNW PROVIDES INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP INSTRUCTION FOR ALL AGES AND ABILITIES. INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION IS OFFERED FOR HARP, KOTO, PIANO, MUSIC THEORY/COMPOSITION AND ALL BRASS, WOODWIND AND STRING INSTRUMENTS. GROUP CLASSES ARE OFFERED FOR CHOIRS, MUSIC TOGETHER, JAZZ COMBOS, ORCHESTRA, SAXAPHONE ENSEMBLES AND SUZUKI VIOLIN. ROYAL CONSERVATORY CERTIFICATION IS ALSO AVAILABLE. IN 2020-2021, MUSICE CENTER HAD ENROLLMENT OF OVER 600 STUDENTS TAUGHT EACH WEEK.
AROUND THE SOUND: THE AROUND THE SOUND BAND IS A DYNAMIC GROUP PROVIDING MUSIC TO THE COMMUNITY. WE OFFER AN OPPORTUNITY FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES OF ALL SKILL LEVELES TO ENJOY A MUTUAL EXPERIENCE IN MAKING MUSIC. WITH A WIDE MUSICAL REPERTOIRE THAT INCLUDES TRADITIONAL LITERATURE, POP TUNES, SHOW TUNES AND MORE, THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE IN THIS COMMUNITY-BASED ENSEMBLE.
EMERALD CITY WOMEN'S CHOIR: THE CHOIR IS ANON-AUDITION CHORUS THAT PROVIDES A FUN, EASY-GOING AND WELCOMING COMMUNITY FOR ALL WOMEN WHO LOVE TO SING, SIMPLY FOR THE JOY OF IT. WE ARE A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY OF SINGERS WHO SING A MIX OF 3- AND 4-OART MUSIC FROM A VARIETY OF GENRES, INCLUDING CONTEMPORARY, CLASSICAL, FOLD AND ROCK 'N ROLL.
