HEALING HORSES KAUAI (HHK) BELIEVES ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IN OUR POSITIVE, SUPPORTIVE EQUESTRIAN ENVIRONMENT. OUR CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS AND TRAINED VOLUNTEERS OFFERED WEEKLY LESSONS TO 580 CLIENTS, MOSTLY CHILDREN & PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. HHK OFFERED SIX WEEKS OF HORSEMANSHIP CAMPS DURING SCHOOL BREAKS TO ABOUT 175 STUDENTS.THIS YEAR, HHK AQUIRED 4 CARTS & A CARRIAGE.HHK CLEARED 10 ACRES OF ITS LEASED LAND TO REMOVE MOUNTAINS OF TRASH AND RE-FENCE THE PROPERTY. WE BUILT A NEW DRIVING ARENA AND WILL SOON BE LAYING WATER PIPES TO PROVIDE DRINKING WATER FOR OUR HERD ON THE NEW PASTURE LAND. HHK MINIATURE HORSES VISIT THE LONG TERM CARE RESIDENTS AT KAUAI VETERAN'S MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND SAMUEL MAHELONA HOSPITAL. THIS YEAR WE PRESENTED A HORSES FOR HEROES PROGRAM FOR OUR KAUAI VETERANS.
