TO PROVIDE RECONSTRUCTIVE PLASTIC SURGICAL TRAINING AND CARE TO THOSE IN NEED, REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY, AND TO ADVANCE THE FIELD OF PLASTIC SURGERY THROUGH EDUCATION AND RESEARCH.

UNITED STATES - RESHAPING LIVES AMERICA - 2022 HAS CONTINUED TO BE A TIME OF GROWTH FOR MISSION PLASTICOS. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGICAL CARE TO UNINSURED AND UNDERINSURED PATIENTS IN THE UNITED STATES LIVING BELOW THE POVERTY LINE ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. RESHAPING LIVES FULL CIRCLE, THE FIRST NATIONWIDE PROGRAM PROVIDING NO-COST BREAST RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY FOR POST-MASTECTOMY WOMEN LIVING IN POVERTY IS ALSO A PART OF THIS PROGRAM. THE ENTHUSIASM FOR THESE PROGRAMS IS EVIDENCED BY THE OUTPOURING OF SUPPORT FROM BOARD CERTIFIED SURGEONS VOLUNTEERING THEIR TIME AND TALENTS. THIS PROGRAM IS YEAR ROUND AND TO DATE, OVER 1,000 PATIENTS HAVE RECEIVED LIFE-CHANGING CARE AND MEDICAL TATTOOS. THROUGH OUR MEDIA CAMPAIGNS WE HAVE REACHED OVER 1.7 MILLION HOUSEHOLDS.


LOS CABOS, MEXICO JUNE 19TH TO 26TH, 2022. A VOLUNTEER MEDICAL TEAM PERFORMED LIFE-CHANGING RECONSTRUCTIVE PLASTIC SURGERY AT UNIDAD MEDICA INTEGRAL SURGERY CENTER. PATIENTS TRAVELED FROM VARIOUS AREAS OF BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO AND THE MEDICAL TEAM WAS ABLE TO COMPLETE 34 PROCEDURES TO INCLUDE CLEFT, CONGENITAL HAND, BURN CONTRACTURE, AND POST MASTECTOMY BREAST RECONSTRUCTION.


SAENZ PENA, ARGENTINA SEPTEMBER 17TH TO 25TH, 2022. A VOLUNTEER MEDICAL TEAM PERFORMED LIFE-CHANGING RECONSTRUCTIVE PLASTIC SURGERY AT HOSPITAL 4 DE JUNIO DR RAMON CARRILLO, IN PRESIDENCIA ROQUE SAENZ PENA, IN CHACO ARGENTINA. THE TEAM COMPLETED 44 PROCEDURES TO INCLUDE POST MASTECTOMY RECONSTRUCTION, CLEFT LIP AND PALATE PROCEDURES.
